Q&Q ENTERTAINMENT, JUGRNAUT CHICAGO, AND PHLI PRESENT
THE FORMAL INTRODUCTION TOUR: WITH DAVE CORESH
“He has above average sound quality for a new comer on all of his tracks”… “We listen to several mixtapes a day, and one thing that made this tape [Boy Wonder Vol. 2] stand out was the quality and it’s overall cohesiveness. Sure he’s young, most fans of hip hop are young and he has what his crowd likes. He has a sponsor, Jugrnaut… He has producers and beats that knock. He has Charm. He is building alliances, DJ Roosevelt Treasurechest and Chaise Marcel to name a few. He is a decent lyricist”…”Dave Coresh is one to watch.” -RAP l The Eargasm.com
“…there is a Chicago MC that is progressing to the top. Currently in college, Dave Coresh is an example of hard work, talent, and dedication to perfecting his craft. In my opinion, he has what it takes to become a great emcee “… “Dave Coresh uses tricky metaphors, brilliant similes, syntax, and good lyrical flow through his songs. Often rapping on the beats of producer Rob Bates, Coresh reminds me of 90’s Hip-Hop. There is something about his delivery that hits me with a old school New York Flavor but with a brand new Chicago Feel.” – HipHopLivesStupid.com
Big SHOUT OUT to Travis Barker and the boys from BLINK 182 who are in town tonight at the MarcusAmphitheater along with Fall Out Boy and Milwaukee’s own Chester French. Travis has always been one of the coolest people in the clothing industry and we have nothing but the utmost respect for him and the crew at FAMOUS STARS and STRAPS. When it comes to promoting a brand, FAMOUS STARS and STRAPS are one of the best.
First of all thank you to all who came out and supported another FLOW CLOTHING PRESENTS event last night featuring GZA/ Genius and the hottest acts from right here in the BREW CITY, Black O’malley, King Hell Bastard, Prophetic and of course The Flyboy Music Group.
The evening started out full of positive energy and everyone was having a good time. The anticipation for GZA was high and people were really up beat and excited. As the night wore on it was apparent GZA was not gonna be on time. As the clock ticked and the minutes went by, the crowd became more and more frustrated. It turned the whole mood of the evening from festive to angry. People were starting to think he was not gonna fill his obligation and perform. The tension was mounting and it was starting to get ugly.
One of our tables was broken and numerous items of clothing were stolen from our FLOW MERCHANDISE table. GZA finally showed up at around 1:25 a.m. and performed for what was left of the crowd. By this time there were alot of mixed emotions and we were just happy he showed up. The performance was short and unemotional but he did show up. As much as I love and respect the GZA, he was very unprofessional and disrespectful. He left all of us hanging and that sucks because the anticipation for this event was so high and positive.
On behalf of FLOW CLOTHING, I sincerely apologize to anyone who felt slighted or let down. I take a trremendous of pride in treating EVERYONE who supports FLOW CLOTHING like family and would never do anything to let anyone down. FLOW CLOTHING will do another event that will be bigger and better then the last one. Thank You to all who support us and hope to see you soon!!!!
